He was Commercial Manager, Food Corporation of India, Managing Director ,Gujarat Agro industries Corporation Ltd. and Managing Director , Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. He was also Addl. Industries Commissioner, Government of Gujarat and Joint Secretary (Projects), Department of Atomic Energy. Mr. Pai , a specialist in Corporate Planning and Project Management, is on the Board of several Companies as Chairman/Director.
